The lightweight, fully beltless engine is also electrified: An Integrated Starter-Generator can supply up to 20 hp, allow fuel-free coasting, and recapture energy during deceleration. With a twin-scroll turbo and electric auxiliary compressor, the gas engine outputs 429 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque on its own, for swift response.

ECO Start/Stop system

A fuel-saving ECO Start/Stop system automatically shuts off the engine at stoplights and other idle situations. As soon as the driver lifts off the brake, the engine instantly restarts, for immediate acceleration response. The ECO Start/Stop system can also be shut off by the driver at any time.

With technology to monitor ordinary road markings above a certain driving speed, Active Lane Keeping Assist can help detect unintended drifting off-course, and alert you by vibrating the steering wheel.
