Mild hybrid electrification advances the 221-hp 2.0L inline-4 turbo engine. Its 48-volt architecture and a belt-driven Starter-Generator allow fuel-free coasting, and can recapture energy during deceleration. It can also supply up to 13 hp and 110 lb-ft of torque for added response on demand. And the gasoline engine is further enhanced with a more efficient turbocharger, CAMTRONIC variable valve lift, and friction-reducing CONICSHAPE cylinders with NANOSLIDE walls.
