AMG Sport Exhaust System

The AMG Sport Exhaust System not only enhances performance but also generates the characteristic sound signature of AMG. A pleasingly subtle exhaust note assures relaxed, quiet cruising, while acceleration and higher revs are accompanied by a rewardingly throaty growl from the four polished-chrome tailpipes.

AMG RIDE CONTROL Sport Suspension

The AMG RIDE CONTROL Sport Suspension features electronically controlled 3-stage adaptive damping. It instantly varies the suspension characteristics to the driving situation, to help reduce body roll, pitch and dive while maximizing agility and tire contact. Three modes are selectable via AMG DYNAMIC SELECT or a separate pushbutton control: Comfort, Sport and Sport+ adapt the damping rates at progressively lower thresholds of wheel motion, lateral g-forces and driving speed.

3.0L inline-6 turbo engine with hybrid assist

The seamless power and natural balance of an inline-6 have returned to the Three-Pointed Star with another Mercedes-Benz tradition: a technological leap forward. The lightweight, fully beltless engine is also electrified, with an Integrated Starter-Generator that can supply up to 21 hp, allows fuel-free coasting, and can recapture energy during deceleration. Even on its own, the twin-scroll turbocharged gas engine outputs 362 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque for smooth, efficient response.

AMG High-performance Composite Braking System

Using principles proven in racing, the braking components are engineered for enduring stopping power in high-performance driving. All four wheels feature 14.2-inch perforated and ventilated discs. The front discs are grasped by powerful 6-piston fixed calipers finished with grey paint and white AMG logos.

Displays of power

The digital cockpit's dual reconfigurable 12.3-inch screens feature AMG readouts and a central touchscreen. The Mercedes-Benz User Experience, (MBUX) features a personal voice assistant. And 64 colors of LED ambience highlight the flowing cabin.

Garage door opener

Three buttons on the rearview mirror can be programmed to operate many types of garage door openers, security gates and other HomeLink^®-compatible features.

64-color LED ambient lighting

A network of LEDs can create not just a soothing ambience in the cabin, but one you can alter to suit your mood, or even create one. The 64 selectable colors and adjustable brightness let you control the atmosphere like never before. Edge-lighting glows from numerous cabin areas, while the front door sills welcome you with AMG logos backlit in soft white.

Touchpad controller

A large touchpad controller on the console lets you operate the in-dash central touchscreen while your hand rests comfortably at your side. The touchpad works a lot like your smartphone, including multitouch gestures like swiping through menus and pinching to zoom. The touchpad surface includes dedicated Back, Skip and Home virtual keys, and even recognizes handwriting. Adjacent one-touch hard keys access major functions and include a programmable "favorite" button.

Illuminated entry system

Program your Mercedes-Benz to illuminate its exterior lights when you unlock it in darkness, to help illuminate a path to your vehicle.

Active Brake Assist

Radar-based technology can alert you if you're approaching a vehicle ahead, or even some stationary objects, at a speed and distance that suggest a collision is likely. As soon as you start to brake, it can automatically provide an appropriate level of braking to help prevent a collision or reduce its severity. If you fail to respond, it can also initiate braking automatically at a range of driving speeds. The system can also help detect and react to crossing pedestrians at typical city speeds.

Crosswind Assist

Interpreting information that is continually supplied by the car's Electronic Stability Program (ESP^®), electric power steering and suspension sensors, Crosswind Assist can helpdetect the effects of strong side winds on the vehicle's handling stability at highway speeds. Whether caused by lateral gusts or even a passing truck, the system can help keep the car on course via strategic braking of the wheels on one side of the vehicle.

PRE-SAFE

A Mercedes-Benz first, PRE-SAFE^® can detect instability during certain vehicle maneuvers that suggest a collision or rollover is imminent. It can then tighten the front seat belts, adjust the front passenger seat, and close the windows and sunroof, all in an effort to better prepare the occupants and restraints in the moments before a collision. If no accident occurs, the seat-belt tensioners reverse, and you simply readjust your seat, open the sunroof and continue on your way.

GUARD 360° security system

GUARD 360°^® offers enhanced vehicle security beyond the standard antitheft alarm. An innovative system can help detect if your parked vehicle experiences certain types of impacts that are likely to cause damage to it. The system can push a damage notification to your phone via the Mercedes me connect app, and can display a notification message the next time you start the car.
