AMG RIDE CONTROL+

Based on AIRMATIC®, an advanced, lightweight adaptive air suspension responds skillfully to the demands of city streets, winding roads and rugged surfaces. AMG-calibrated sensors and pressurized air spring-struts can respond within milliseconds to conditions. It can also self-lower at speed to further enhance stability and efficiency, or can be raised by up to 2.2 inches for deep ruts or steep approaches. Versatile modes range from Comfort to Sport+, as well as Trail and Sand modes.

AMG High-performance Braking System w/red calipers

Using principles proven in racing, the braking components are engineered for enduring stopping power in high-performance driving. Compound front rotors are designed to provide excellent heat dissipation and dimensional stability at the extreme temperatures generated in high-performance driving. Big 15.7-inch front discs are grasped by powerful 6-piston fixed calipers. The one-piece rear discs measure 14.6 inches. The calipers are finished with red paint and AMG logos.

AMG Performance Exhaust System

Two additional internal flaps near the tailpipes let the driver escalate its sound at the push of a button, either directly or via the modes of AMG DYNAMIC SELECT. The system's free-flow design delivers an audible celebration of power with every upshift, downshift and rev. Computer-control of the flaps base their operation on engine speed and load, to assure full power delivery regardless of the "audio" output.

The acclaimed AMG biturbo V8 propels performance into a new era again. Generating 603 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque from a modest 4.0 liters, it can rush to 60 in 4.1 seconds and deliver swift response at any speed. Its "hot inside V" turbo location cuts lag and losses. An electric Integrated Starter-Generator can efficiently add gas-free torque. AMG Cylinder Management can seamlessly deactivate four cylinders. Yet even with its advancements, each V8 is still hand-built and signed by its own craftsman.

12.3-inch touchscreen multimedia display

A widescreen color display with multitouch interface makes it easy to access a world of features, including audio, MB Navigation, phone and vehicle settings. Heated 2nd-row seats

Electrically heated 2nd-row seats offer soothing warmth with individualized comfort. Three levels of warming automatically step down after several minutes, while automatic shutoff means the driver need not worry if the passengers forget to turn them off. Heating is provided for the outboard positions with the 7-passenger configuration, or for each 2nd-row seat in the 6-passenger setup.
